We are thrilled to announce the start of the 22nd Aviv Competitions by the America-Israel Cultural Foundation – the most prestigious event for young Israeli classical musicians!
๐ When it is happening:
- First Stage (competitions): December 23-29, 2024 โ Tel Aviv-Jaffa Music Center, Hall B
- Final Stage: January 1-2, 2025 โ Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Recanati Auditorium
๐ผ Who is participating:
28 young musicians (ages 21-30) across four categories:
๐น 10 pianists
๐ป 6 violists
๐ป 5 violinists
๐ท 7 woodwind players
The winners in each category will receive a prize of $6,000.
During the First stage, competitors will perform recitals featuring original pieces written for their instruments from various periods and an Israeli Instrumental Piece. An additional prize of โช7,500 will be awarded for an outstanding performance of an Israeli Instrumental Piece. The jury will select finalists for both the main categories and the Israeli piece performance prize.

- Admission to the First Stage is free, but seats are limited. Pre-registration is required for each competition category you wish to attend.
